Looking for more time to practice your pottery skills outside of classes but not quite ready for full membership? Open Studio Sessions are designed just for you! This flexible option allows you to work in our studio on a session-by-session basis.

Open Studio Sessions run on a weekly schedule:

• Mondays 9am - 5:30pm

• Fridays 9am - 10:30pm

• Saturdays 2:30pm - 10:30pm

• Sundays 1:30pm - 10:30pm

Cost: $200 + HST for a 4-session package (each session is 3 hours)

• Packages expire 2 months from the date of purchase.

To ensure all participants are comfortable with our studio operations, Open Studio Sessions are open to those who have completed two 8-week pottery courses with us. If you have prior experience in ceramics and feel confident working independently, you may be eligible without taking classes—just reach out using the form below to us to discuss! 

​Before your first session, we’ll provide a studio orientation to get you all set up.

• Wheels - Shimpo VL Lite for throwing

• Tables for handbuilding and glazing 

• Studio tools and equipment

• Studio glazes (no underglaze)

• Wax resist

• Work in progress shelf space

• Firing:

  • Bisque firing

  • Glaze firing 1 full shelf, additional fee for extra glaze firing

• Aprons and towels

• Clay (can be purchased directly from the studio $30/10kg) Cone 6 only

  • We currently sell Tucker’s Mid Smooth Stone, Mid Smooth Stone Speckle, Smooth Red Stoneware, and Porcelain Bright White 

  • personally purchased Cone 6 clays and glazes must be approved by us first

• Underglaze

• Storage shelf for personal tools and equipment
