Our Story

Pot Pot Studio was founded by Rose and Jon, two lifelong pottery enthusiasts driven by a passion for creating beautiful and functional art.

Our journey began at the Akin Collective art studio on St. Clair in Toronto, a vibrant community that played a significant role in shaping our path. It was there that we met, bonded over our shared love for pottery, and formed a lasting friendship. Inspired by the joy, creativity, and connection we experienced within that community, we set out to create a space of our own where others could discover and grow their pottery skills. ​

Pot Pot Studio is the realization of that dream – a warm and welcoming community where creativity thrives, and everyone is encouraged to explore the art of clay.

    Meet Lara — a multidisciplinary designer who’s very excited about clay. 

    She’s a handbuilding girly at heart (tiny creatures forever!), but also loves throwing on the wheel. Her classes are all about making, experimenting, troubleshooting, and turning ideas into thoughtful objects. Expect glaze talk, happy accidents, and lots of “wait… that’s actually so cute." When she’s not teaching, she’s sketching new forms, plotting glaze combinations, or laughing somewhere in the studio.

Darcie loves making ceramics classes enjoyable and welcoming, and you can usually count on some disco beats playing in the background.
