Memberships

Pot Pot Studio offers a shared open studio space for experienced, responsible individuals who can work independently.  Our studio is open 24/7 for our members.

 

Requirements:

  • At least 6 months of pottery classes with us or a similar studio.

  • If you’ve gained experience elsewhere, please email us at pottery@potpotstudio.ca with details about your background.

We prioritize a safe, supportive environment where members can create at their own pace. While staff are available to assist with safety and operations, members must be self-sufficient.

Member Exclusive:

Enjoy exclusive access to our 4-week pottery classes for just $40 per session, with flexible registration based on availability. Whether you’re following the full curriculum or honing specific skills, this is a great way to deepen your craft at a special member rate!

Please Note:
We cannot accommodate production potters due to limited space and kiln capacity.

 

Next Steps:
New members must complete an orientation session, during which we assess their suitability. Upon approval, members will sign a studio etiquette agreement and fill out a membership form.

15 hour Wheel Membership $200 + tax/month ​

Unlimited Membership $300 + tax/month​​

Included in 15 hour Wheel Membership:

  • Wheels - Shimpo VL Lite: 15 hours of wheel time/month (does not carry over. Top up hours for an additional cost $60/5 hours)

  • Tables for handbuilding and glazing (unlimited use during studio hours)

  • Studio tools and equipment

  • Studio glazes (no underglaze)

  • Wax resist

  • Shelf space for materials and work in progress (12" depth x 32" wide x 12" height)

  • Firing:

    • Wheel throwing: unlimited bisque, 2 full shelves glaze (21" w x 5" h shelf)

    • monthly limit does not carry over, cost for additional glaze firings

  • Aprons and towels

  • Clay (can be purchased directly from the studio $30/10kg) Cone 6 only

    • We currently sell Tucker’s Mid Smooth Stone, Mid Smooth Stone Speckle, Smooth Red Stoneware, and Porcelain Bright White 

    • personally purchased Cone 6 clays and glazes must be approved by us first

  • Underglaze
